In Durban North’s Glenashley area, Eastmans Spar opened its doors for the first time in 1997, on the corner of Umhlanga Rocks Drive and Ashley Avenue. Spar is the worlds biggest food group and has the biggest market share in KZN. In 2005 Gavin East, owner and operator, expanded the store into a Super Spar, offering even more products and savings to shoppers from Umhlanga Rocks to La Lucia, Glenashley, Glenanil and Durban North’s Riverside.
